Story Time With Elsa
In July 2020, we hosted our first virtual event featuring Queen Elsa! Participants who donated $5 or more were invited to a private Facebook Live event where Queen Elsa read a story, answered questions, and sang her favorite songs. We raised a grand total of $428 directly for future fundraising events and childhood cancer research!
Family Fun Night Fundraiser
On October 24th, 2020, we hosted our first annual "Family Fun Night" fundraising event in Central Florida! An event full of games, entertainment, vendors, prizes, an outdoor movie and more, our community fundraised $805 to send care packages for kids with cancer around the world!
Custom Craft Kits - CCAM
For Childhood Cancer Awareness Month (CCAM), Love for Ladybug created custom craft kits that included giant letter crayons spelling out the names of kids who received them! We shipped 7 packages across the world and donated to The St. Baldrick's Foundation for research.
#TeamShania Christmas
Shania, local to Palm Bay, FL, had emergency surgery in November 2020 due to discovery of cancer in her spine. The surgery was not entirely successful, so Shania had to undergo close monitored treatment during the holiday season. With the help of Miss Gracie's Bows, we fundraised over $200 to buy a few Christmas gifts for Shania to open when she returned home from the hospital!
Kassie's Birthday Book Bash
In honor of Kassie's 23rd Birthday, Love for Ladybug connected with Usborne Books & More! Donors were able to purchase books directly off our Usborne Wishlist, totaling up to 98 books & activities donated to Love for Ladybug! Books were distributed to Advent Health Children's Hospital and shipped to 8 childhood cancer families.
